A step to leadership: the graduation of the Advanced Leadership Course for non-commissioned officers took place at the NANGU

The National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine officially awarded military personnel who completed the Advanced NCO Leadership Course.
During the ceremony, Colonel Vitalii Panchenko and Chief Sergeant of the National Guard of Ukraine Dmytro Tymoshchuk presented the graduates certificates of successful completion of their training.
“The graduates who are in this hall today have overcome another step on the path of their professional growth. As always after graduation, we emphasize that education is just beginning. The main motto of every serviceman is self-education and self-development throughout the entire military service. As and, I wish sergeants as leaders to grow with each new position, develop, gain new knowledge and become worthy assistants to commanders at all levels. Patience to you, success and encouragement in your career. Glory to Ukraine!”, – Colonel Vitalii Panchenko said.
In addition, for the conscientious performance of official duties, diligence in education, intelligent initiative and readiness for the responsible performance of military tasks, the best sergeants were awarded with diplomas and certificates of gratitude.
“It is a great honor for me to be present at this event – the graduation of the Advanced Leadership Course for sergeants. Everyone has heard that officers symbolize the head, sergeants – the backbone, and soldiers – the hands of the modern army. I am impressed by the results of the work and the knowledge provided by the lecturers of the Center for Retraining and Advanced Training. I sincerely thank them for this. I wish everyone encouragement, health and our victory!”, – Chief Sergeant of the National Guard of Ukraine Dmytro Tymoshchuk said.
It should be noted that the Advanced Leadership Course for NCOs was first organized by the Retraining and Advanced Training Center of the Academy.
The goal of the course was to train military leaders from among the NCOs capable of performing the functional duties of a battalion Chief Sergeant.
The course covered the acquisition of important skills and abilities, such as: socio-psychological support, goal setting, effective communication, motivation and leadership, individual and collective training, team building, cohesion, the ethos of a guard and psychological support.
This course is an important stage in the formation of a professional non-commissioned officer corps, which will become a reliable support for the modern army.
