Representatives of the "SAAB Dynamics" corporation and Guards of the Academy conducted joint training

As part of the continuation of previously launched initiatives, representatives of the "SAAB Dynamics" corporation conducted a two-day training for lecturers, instructors and cadets of the Academy. The classes were devoted to two topics: the use of anti-tank weapons produced by the SAAB company and tactical medicine. This is not the first time that such events have been held and are a continuation of the cooperation between the National Academy of the NGU and the Swedish Defence University.

Representatives of the Kingdom of Sweden delegation shared with the guardsmen their knowledge on the use of "AT-4" and "Carl Gustav", "NLaw" anti-tank missile. The Ukrainian military provided engineers with feedback on the practical use of assault antitank weapon. Tactical medicine instructors practiced the international TCCC first aid protocol with the guardsmen. Such trainings are aimed at both training the Ukrainian military and modernizing weapons.

"Thanks to the participation of representatives of the development company "SAAB" in building the capabilities and strengthening the potential of the NGU units, engineers will be able to receive feedback on the practical application of weapons, and our servicemen will have a unique opportunity to learn the technical intricacies of samples of weapons. It should be noted that representatives of the corporation "SAAB Dynamics" invited the military of the NGU Academy to visit their production facilities in Sweden. In addition, we are working to ensure that similar events are systematic and aim to conduct several trainings in 2025. This will allow us to increase the number of training participants not only from the Academy, but also from all educational and training institutions of the NGU", –Head of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Department of the Academy Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Honchar comments.

Cooperation with SAAB Dynamics Corporation began in March and has already results. In the future, it is planned to implement both educational and technological initiatives of the producing company SAAB and the Swedish Defence University into the educational process of the Academy.
