Representatives of the Public Security Service of the Republic of Lithuania and the Academy discussed potential areas of cooperation

Military personnel of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine held a meeting with representatives of the Public Security Service of the Republic of Lithuania.

The purpose of the event was to acquaint Lithuanian law enforcement officers with the activity of the Academy, its place and role in the security and defence sector.

The Deputy Head of the Academy for Weapons and Equipment –  Head of the Technical Support Department, Colonel Oleh Shabalin acquainted the representatives of the delegation with the activities of the Academy, areas of training and educational processes of the educational institution.

"We are glad to welcome you in Ukraine.  We support various initiatives from your side for further cooperation and are grateful that you join our struggle for territorial integrity. I am sure that in the future the directions of our cooperation will only develop and improve the efficiency of our educational institutions", –  Colonel Oleh Shabalin addressed the participants of the delegation.

During the meeting further potential areas of cooperation, namely the possibility of conducting joint exercises and trainings in terms of public order and security were discussed. Representatives of both sides also expressed their desire to exchange instructors and study more detailed experience in ensuring public order in both countries.
